Delete your account

Last updated: 27 July 2026

You can ask us to delete your My Streats account at any time, and we will. This page explains how to ask, what we delete, and what we have to keep.

Which account?

My Streats has two: the mobile app on Google Play and the App Store, and the My Streats website. How you delete depends on which one you mean, and you can ask us about both in one message.

  • The My Streats app — email us using the details below. We delete your account within one month of your request, and usually much sooner.
  • The My Streats website — you can do it yourself. Sign in and go to Your data in your account, then choose Delete my account — or email us and we will do it for you. If you hold a loyalty pass without an account, email us and we will remove it.

How to ask us

Email hello@mystreats.co.uk from the address on your account, with "Delete my account" as the subject. Tell us whether you mean the app, the website, or both.

If you cannot email us from that address, write to us anyway — we will ask you a couple of questions to confirm the account is yours before we delete anything.

We respond within one month of receiving your request, as UK data-protection law requires, and usually much sooner.

What we delete

Everything that identifies you personally:

  • Your name and contact details — email address, phone number, postal address
  • Your account credentials
  • Any payment or bank details we hold
  • Your location, device and usage data
  • Your marketing and communication preferences
  • The personal details attached to your orders and loyalty activity

What we keep, and why

Two things survive deletion, and neither identifies you.

  • Records the law requires us to keep. Transaction and accounting records are held for six years for tax purposes, and sometimes longer where a tax authority may query them. That is a legal obligation rather than a choice.
  • Anonymised activity. We may keep a non-identifying record of activity — for example, so a vendor's totals stay accurate. It cannot be linked back to you.

Questions or complaints

If anything here is unclear, or you are not happy with how we have handled your request, email hello@mystreats.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to help first.
